As Operations Manager, Mr. Shields is responsible for the daily management of stock portfolios, including the analysis of stock performance for individual accounts. He is also responsible for the preparation of a weekly balance sheet for the company. As a trader, he executes all security transactions for managed accounts on a daily basis. Prior to joining Robert W. Duggan and Associates in 1993, Mr. Shields administered the trust accounts and was responsible for the settlement of all security transactions for the Trust Division of Santa Barbara Bank and Trust. He is also experienced in the testing and quality control of large configuration management software applications.
